My name is Eric Eskridge. I became a member at Gold’s Gym in 2014. When I started working out, I was 296 pounds. I started to work out with a trainer, here at Gold’s Gym, and I lost 117 pounds. In 2016, I became a team member with Gold’s Gym at the Columbus location. I started as a housekeeper then moved to front desk associate. Through my personal experience with a trainer, I discovered my passion for working out and training. I learned how to program for different populations and found excitement in learning new exercises. I started training as a power lifter, participating in competitions using my own routines I created. After working for Gold’s Gym for a year, I decided to become a personal trainer. I am now a NCSF Certified Personal Trainer. Through my experience on my personal fitness journey, my experience with a personal trainer, and my education through NCSF, I would like to help others on their personal fitness journey.
