Yoga (Vinyasa flow)– Vinyasa flow yoga is an exercise that challenges your upper body and core strength, increases flexibility, and enhances the cardio-vascular system. At the same time, it develops mental focus and activates the parasympathetic nervous (i.e.: relaxation)system. Using a particular breathing technique, we match movement with breath; we begin with sun salutations, move to standing poses, work into sitting postures, and complete the class with rest pose. Areas of focus include balancing poses, spinal extension, flexion and twisting, inversions, and core strengthening.
