Philosophy: My training philosophy starts with the power of the mindset. It is extremely important to go from the mindset of “I can’t”, to “I can”. Once you are in this positive mindset, everything else will fall into place.
When I was younger I practiced the art of kickboxing, boxing & Taekwondo for about 8 years. All of my training came to a complete halt after having an accident that was more mentally draining than physically. At the time I weighed 175lbs with 10% body fat; however, it did not last. Not long after being in the best shape of my life, I gained an additional 110lbs. After about 12 years of doing nothing, I decided to get back into the training game, but this time I wanted to help others. Being on both sides of the coin, fit to unfit to fit again, I knew what it took physically, mentally and nutritionally. So I started a series of courses with the National Academy Of Sports Medicine (NASM), adding a wealth of knowledge to what I already knew.
Today at 39, I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been. My training style incorporates everything from corrective exercise, power-training, functional training, calisthenics, to sports specific training, whether it’s golf, soccer, basketball or football. I DO NOT teach something that I HAVE NOT practiced, so rest assured that you will be in experienced hands as you progress from the most simplest exercise, to more complicated routines. The time for change is now. If you can believe, it will control what you do.
