My love for fitness started when I was in middle school and discovered my Mom’s collection of home workout VHS tapes. I followed along to these 80’s workout tapes which included Joanie Greggain’s High Energy Aerobics and Buns of Steel. As a child and throughout high school I was involved in dance, cheerleading and gymnastics and continued to exercise and soak up everything I could about health and fitness. My passion for fitness grew and I wanted to share that with others. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education from Slippery Rock University of PA and am now a Health and PE teacher at Central Dauphin Middle School.
Currently, I am earning my Masters of Exercise Science- Fitness and Wellness Promotion, from California University of PA. Through this program I have earned various certifications such as my NASM CPT Certification and have learned how to program the most appropriate training methods for various goals, whether it be improved athletic performance, weight loss, muscle hypertrophy or overall strength.
As a trainer, I listen to my client’s needs and help them develop attainable goals. We then create a realistic plan of action that fits in with their daily life. I specialize in working closely with and coaching clients to help hold them accountable in several aspects of their health which will lead them towards their goals.
If you are ready to make a positive change in your life, I would love to work with you and support you on your health and fitness journey!
