My passion to get involved in the fitness industry began when I was a young child. I have lived an active lifestyle for as long as I can remember and I knew that I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. When it came time to selecting what college I wanted to attend and what I wanted to study it was an easy decision. Week after week, season after season I watched “The Biggest Loser” in awe of how these trainers were able to connect with these contestants and push them to their limits to help them change their lives. I chose to study at The Pennsylvania State University and learn the science behind human movement so that I could also join the battle of conquering obesity and preventing chronic illnesses.
Helping others achieve their fitness goals is my main priority. There is no greater feeling in the world as a trainer then seeing a sense of accomplishment in a client’s eyes when they know they worked hard and crossed off one goal after another. It is that moment of accomplishment that fuels my fire as a trainer to work my hardest and give one hundred percent to everyone that I work with. I completed my internship at State College High School Fitness Center working with faculty, students and athletes. It was this opportunity where I learned my style of training and how to connect with the clients I work with. It is my goal to educate my clients on living healthier, active lifestyles, and motivate them to accomplish their fitness goals. Our bodies are meant to move around and withstand physical activity. I invite everyone to come join us at Gold’s Gym so that we can help you to achieve your fitness goals and become a stronger, healthier individual.
