How long have you been a member: I have been a member for almost 13 years?
How often do you workout at GGCH: I try to get in 3-4 times a week when I am not slacking !! lol
How has GGCH helped you achieve your potential through fitness: With the friendly environment at Gold’s the support of fellow members is off the chart. It’s like a family helping each other out . Also, the wide variety of equipment allows for workouts to be changed up. If someone is using a machine you wanted to work on, there are so many more options to do same workout.
When I first came to golds I had taken a long grace period and it was really hard to get started again. But I quickly made some good friends and workouts became fun again. I was preparing to go out west to hike and archery hunt and I used a Gold’s trainer who showed me so much more than I knew and lifting and healthy eating habits. But the best advise he gave me was “Challenge yourself daily”!! You can not just show up and do as little as possible and expect results
What advice do you have for new members or potential new GGCH members: I would tell people just joining . You cant do all it in one day. Work up to it and don’t give up . It takes about a couple weeks before it starts becoming a habit and fun . And know EVERY one coming through that door is here to improve themselves. We all are having our struggles, but just making it in is really the hardest part! Once you are there, Gold’s will take over.
