I started teaching group exercise classes in 1989. I worked for a company called Lively Aerobics. Class format was very similar to Jazzercise and classes were taught in community centers or multi-purpose rooms in elementary schools.
Group X is a ‘small world’ and through those connections I had my first experience with Les Mills BodyPump and the rest is history! I fell in love with Les Mills and currently hold seven of their certifications.
When not teaching group X, I am the controller for a non-profit organization in College Park MD.
