I am very excited to have found my passion and purpose in life! Being able to help others become the healthiest they can be not only for themselves but their family, friends and others in their life. My mission is to help someone become the happiest healthies version of themselves. Health is more than a number on the scale. I personally know this because it has taken me a little over a year to lose half my body weight. But the transformation that I was seeing and feeling during this time allowed me to step back and look at my achievements no matter the number on the scale. I strongly believe in providing a support system, motivation, and accountability. I also practice what I preach regarding training, nutrition, achieving goals, and attaining personal success.
I founded a running/walking club for people of all fitness levels, The GYS Track Club. The support, direction, coaching and motivation the club provides creates an atmosphere where people can step outside of their comfort zone to achieve and do things they never thought possible. Some members have never ran before, ran their first race, and have beat their personal records this year, including myself. I I have won 32 of 34 races in 2016. Including the Bismarck Half Marathon, Fargo Mini Marathon, Alton Great River Road 10mile, Aviator 10 mile, and the Harmon Lake Triathlon.
I am always willing to volunteer and help throughout our community. Being an active member of Stiletto Women’s Charity Organization and R.A.A.D. has given me a great sense of pride and accomplishment knowing that I am fulfilling my purpose in life one day at a time.
My life motto “Only look back if that’s where you want to be!”
