Before joining Gold’s Gym, I was a 6-year member of another fitness center. I left because the workout was the same every day and offered no variety in the machines available or the routines to follow. Several months after joining Gold’s Gym, I was introduced to SilverSneakers by friends. They told me how much they enjoyed the class and what a good workout they received each session. After trying the class a few times, I was hooked! Each session is a full hour-long workout that raises your heart rate, strengthens your stamina and helps tone your muscles. You can push yourself as much as you want to ensure that you receive the results you’re seeking.
As I attended the class over several months, I found myself more limber than before. My arthritic knees could handle stairs much easier. I also like attending the class during the week to vary my workout routine. The class allows you to meet others who are attending for similar reasons. Over the last few months, I am seeing more “seniors” join the class and, now, every session is either a full class or very close to being fully attended! We receive a great workout each session and also get to enjoy the camaraderie of exercising with others who have similar goals.GO BACK
